I’m a Racist, Hateful, Rich White Girl

Wait, what?  Are you really a racist, hateful, rich white girl, Alicia?  No.  No, I am not.  I am not racist (I have kids with a black guy *gasp*) or hateful, and I sure as heck am not rich.  The only one of those things I am is white.  And that was not by choice.  That’s how God decided to design me.

But wait, I mean, I must be racist since I didn’t vote for Killary Hillary, right?  Oh, and I must hate gay people too, right?  The recent accusations of many Liberals that anyone who didn’t vote for Hillary must be racist and hateful have baffled me.  So, I posed a question on Facebook:

Can someone tell me why white people are being “blamed” for Trump’s victory and not Hillary for not running an effective campaign or being honest with the American people?

I’m asking genuinely. I didn’t support Hillary, but I’m far from racist, so I’m wondering how it is that I must be racist since I didn’t vote for Hillary.

I was not trying to start arguments or spread hate.  I genuinely would like to know the answer to this question.  And notice that I didn’t say “those who support Trump.”  I said “those who do not support Hillary.”  I meant to word my question that way.  I am the first person who will say I am not a HUGE fan of Trump.  (See what I did there?!)  But, I do believe he is the better option than Hillary.

I received comments that those who didn’t support Hillary are spreading and endorsing hate.  Excuse me, but isn’t it the Hillary-supporting Liberals who are trashing the streets of New York and Oakland?  Aren’t they the ones spewing hatred when they’re not curled up in fetal positions refusing to take midterms?

I’ve heard those who don’t support Hillary must hate gay people since Trump and Pence don’t support the LGBTQ legislation.  If I’m not mistaken (and I’m not), it was Hillary who stated, “I believe that marriage is not just a bond, but a sacred bond between a man and a woman.”  Do people really believe she now supports gay marriage, or could it be a possibility that she knew what the general public wanted to hear leading up to an election year?

Gay marriage is now already legal.  Do Liberals truly believe Trump will overturn same-sex marriage legislation?  And why aren’t the 13 previous Democratic Presidents being blamed for hating the LGBTQ population?  They didn’t enact same-sex marriage legislation.

I’ve also heard that those who don’t support Hillary must be racist against African-Americans and Hispanics.  But it was Hillary who said, “We’ve got to do several things and I am, you know, adamantly against illegal immigrants.”

Why?  Because Republican Trump supporters didn’t vote for Obama simply because he’s black?  Because Trump wants to help our own citizens who need help before supporting an entire population of illegal immigrants or refugees?  How many of you who believe that actually do anything to help our own American homeless population?

And what if I told you there are actually brilliant black politicians who don’t support Hillary and didn’t support Obama?  *Gasp.*  Are they racist, too?  Nope.  Perhaps they just know what America can handle and what’s too much.

What else have I heard from Liberals about not supporting Hillary?  Let’s see . . . Oh, I must be a hateful person since I support someone who has a vile mouth.  Umm, have y’all heard the things that come out of Hillary’s mouth?  She is just as vile.  Does that mean her supporters spread hatred because of the things she chooses to say?  Here, wait.  Let me give you some examples:

“f*cking Jew bastard”

“When are they going to get those f*cking retards out of here?”

“Just do your GD job, and keep your mouth shut.”  [She didn’t say GD, by the way.]

“These women are trash; who will believe them?”

“I want you to get rid of all these b*tches he’s seeing.”

Is Hillary better than Trump?  Not at all.  In fact, she’s worse, and I’ll tell you why.  She tries to be sneaky about her nasty words.  She doesn’t realize people can hear her; therefore, she thinks it’s okay to run her vile mouth and call Trump out on his.  Even the Bible says “for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light” (2 Corinthians 11:14).  Hillary thinks she’s slick.  She is sneaky and conniving.  I can’t help but wonder if Hillary supporters don’t look at both sides of the coin simply because she’s a woman.  Is Trump just vile because he’s a man, and men are pigs?  Should a disgusting woman get a free pass because that’s what Liberals, as a whole, like to do – give free passes?  Give me a break.

Maybe I didn’t support Hillary because I don’t agree with her on the important issues.  Have you ever thought of that?  Maybe I don’t agree with abortions.  Or her stance on foreign policy.  Or taxes and health care.  Her stance on national security scares the crap out of me.  Maybe those are the reasons people didn’t support her.  Not because we don’t like African-Americans, Hispanics, or women.

Also, I would be remiss not to mention the role the DNC and the Democratic Party supporters themselves have played in Hillary’s loss.  It’s not just us “white people” who are to blame for Trump’s win.  It’s you Liberals who assisted in Bernie Sanders’ loss to Hillary in the primary.  I honestly believe he could have – and would have – beat Trump.  No one likes a liar and murderer under investigation by the FBI.  We white Republicans didn’t vote Hillary into the election.  You Democrats did.

Another reason Trump was more attractive than Hillary is the simple fact that he’s not a politician.  He doesn’t say things just because he knows people want to hear them.  You know . . . like Hillary does.  As I said in my Facebook post this morning, everyone says they hate politicians, yet when we have someone running for office who isn’t the typical politician, saying all things politicians are supposed to say, Liberals get bent out of shape and riot, complain, and call people names.  I don’t get it.  It’s a no-win situation.

We can’t vote on the issues we feel important and with the hope of ridding our country of the crooked politicians we’ve dealt with in the past without being accused of being racist, misogynistic, or hateful.  Yet we’re the ones being portrayed as the bullies?  It doesn’t make sense.  We didn’t parade around, creating hashtags like #notmypresident when Obama won.  We didn’t cause nearly the amount of discord back in 2008 or 2012 as the very name-callers are in the aftermath of this election.  They yell and preach unity, yet they are the very ones causing greater divide.  Not supporting Hillary doesn’t mean we’re racist or hateful.  It means we’re not supporting someone with just as many faults as the opponent she loves to bash.  It means we are supporting the issues in which we believe . . . like social, financial, and security issues.

We don’t have to agree to love.  Just ask my husband – He’s a Red Sux fan.  [Barf.]  Hate is easy.  Love takes courage.  Be courageous.  Stop picking fights and calling names.  Stop making excuses.  Unity is what makes America the best country in the world.  Step up, and be the example – not the problem.
